Supreme Exotic Animals’ editorial policy requires all species content to be written or reviewed by experienced handlers, based on veterinary records, species care manuals, and credible sources like the IUCN Red List and Wisconsin Primate Research Center, updated quarterly or when regulations change, with corrections logged, and without fabrication of licenses, reviews, or credentials.
Editorial Policy — How We Create and Review Content
Purpose of This Editorial Policy
We publish content about exotic animals for sale, care, cost, and legal requirements to help pre-screened, responsible owners make informed decisions. Accuracy and animal welfare are more important than keyword ranking.
Content Creation Process
- First-party information: Health records, socialization logs, enclosure specifications and placement experience from our own program operating from the Greenville, MS region and Florida
- Species research: Scientific name, classification, lifespan, size, temperament, diet per IUCN Red List, Wisconsin Primate Research Center (primate.wisc.edu), reputable care manuals
- Legal research: General information from USDA APHIS, state Fish & Wildlife Services, FindLaw aggregator—we do not provide legal advice; we link to official sources and require buyers to verify
- Writing: Handlers draft care and temperament sections; no AI-generated filler without handler review
- Review: Content reviewed for accuracy, welfare compliance and E-E-A-T before publishing
- Citations: External references listed where appropriate
What We Do Not Do
- Fabricate USDA licenses, establishment years, veterinary partnerships, reviews, testimonials, credentials, guarantees
- Promise specific Google rankings, AI citations or traffic increases
- Sell wild-caught animals or CITES Appendix I species as casual pets
- Provide legal advice—we provide general information and require verification with authorities
- Publish medical advice beyond general care—we advise consulting licensed exotic veterinarian for diagnosis/treatment
Update Schedule
- Cost guides: Quarterly or when pricing inclusion changes
- Care guides: Quarterly
- Legal pages: Six-month review or when relevant regulation changes known
- Health guarantee / Shipping: Annual or event-driven
- Product pages: When individual animal reserved or new health info

If an error is found, we correct it promptly and note the date updated at the bottom of the page.
